A look inside The Pit!

Since 2003, Caliroots have been at the forefront of the European streetwear scene. Having begun with an innovative retail concept featuring a gallery in the basement, the store continues to uphold the values upon which it was founded, with the aim of bringing a sense of the Californian lifestyle to Scandinavia. Caliroots introduced independent brands from across the pond, a niche offering bolstered by classics such as Stüssy, Freshjive and Vans.   

Now ten years later, we've joined forces with one of the original and most iconic Californian brands, Vans, to present a new retail concept named The Pit.  Located in the basement space of the Cali OG store in Stockholm, The Pit brings together the best of both parties, carrying a comprehensive selection of Vans footwear, apparel and accessories, including the technical offering of Pro Skate, the highly sought after Syndicate line as well as  and the iconic Classics and California collections. 

With a selection of the best hardware and skate supplies amongst the offering, The Pit not only provides a formidable selection of soft and hard goods, but also the perfect inner city hub for the Stockholm skate scene.

As the first Core Concept of its type in Scandinavia, the 30sqm space heralds a new era for both us and Vans, paing the way to another decade of our successful collaboration!
